Rise, Resist, Empower: 6th Annual CCC LGBTQ+ Summit
The California Community Colleges welcomes you to join us at our 6th Annual CCC LGBTQ+ Summit, which will be held virtually April 24 - 25, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The summit is a space for students, faculty, classified professionals and administrators where we will focus on this year’s theme: “The Unstoppable Movement for Queer & Trans Liberation” and on improving not only individual community college campuses but encouraging changes at the structural level as well.

Culture and Community Circle
The Culture and Community Circle sessions celebrate the experiences and contributions of various communities including people who are differently abled (Disabilities Awareness month); the Filipino/a/x community, (Filipinx Heritage month); the Latino/a/x community (Latinx Heritage month); Undocumented/Status/DACAmented /Dreamer students, (Undocumented Student Action Week), the Middle Eastern community, and the contributions of women (Women's History Month).
Come join your colleagues to discuss effective teaching practices for a remote/online format via Zoom.
The Equity-Minded Teaching and Learning Institute (EMTLI) is a yearly cohort-based professional development activity in which participating faculty analyze their classroom data, disaggregate by race/ethnicity, and then make changes to their curriculum and teaching practices using an equity-minded teaching framework.
